ICSE Class 10 (CISCE) follows a group-wise subject selection system:
Group I (Compulsory)
- English
- Second Language (Indian/Modern Foreign Language)
- History, Civics & Geography
Group II (Choose any two)
- Mathematics
- Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Economics
- Commercial Studies
- Environmental Science, etc.
Group III (Choose any one)
- Computer Applications
- Economic Applications
- Art, Performing Arts, Physical Education, etc.
Marks Distribution

Total Marks
ICSE Class 10 result is calculated out of **best five subjects** including English (compulsory). The total is **500 marks**.
Passing Criteria
- Minimum of 33% marks in each subject (theory + internal combined).
- Overall performance is judged on aggregate of best five subjects including English.
